Pastry Cinnamon Scrolls - a quick and fool proof recipe

1 small bowl
1 lined baking tray
- 1 store bought block of flaky puff pastry (400 grams)
- 50 grams softened butter (not melted)
- ¼ cup soft brown sugar
- 2 tsp cinnamon
Pre heat the oven to 200℃ (390℉).
Soften the butter and set aside.
Roll out the pastry into a rectangle shape (about 3mm in thickness).
place the brown sugar and cinnamon into the butter and whip with a small whisk or fork until smooth and light in colour.
Use a palette knife to spread the cinnamon mixture over the pastry. Get right into all the corners and edges.
Roll up tightly and cut into slices, about 3cm in thickness.Place on to your lined tray and bake for 15-20 miuntes. Leave for 10 minutes before cooling on a wire rack.
