Overnight Oats for a Fuelling and Quick Breakfast
If you struggle to start the day with a good breakfast because you are in too much of a hurry - then these are for you.

Servings: 1 serving per jar
Overnight Oat Base Recipe
- ½ cup rolled oats
- (or 3 Weet-Bix or 3 Gluten Free Weet-Bix)
- ½ cup milk (any dairy or dairy free option will work)
- ½ cup yoghurt (once again you choose your preference or simply omit and replace with milk)
- 1 tbsp maple syrup or runny honey (leave out if you are using making the berries and jam option)
Berries and Jam
- 1 base recipe
- 1 tbsp jam (a berry flavour like strawberry or raspberry)
- ½ cup berries (fresh, frozen, or tinned)
Choc Banana
- 1 base recipe
- 1 sliced banana
- 1 tbsp chocolate chips
Nut banana
- 1 base recipe
- 1 sliced banana
- 1 tsp peanut butter (optional)
- 1 tbsp chopped nuts (optional)
Apple pie
- 1 base recipe
- ½ apple grated
- 2 tsp maple syrup or runny honey
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
Combine the base ingredients in a jar. Make as many jars as you need for the week ahead.
Choose your flavour combination and stir it through your base recipe.
Make in advance and keep in the fridge for cup to a week.
Use a jar with lid for a breakfast on the run.
