Express Everyday Waffles

A quick and easy waffle recipe made using only a Nutribullet (or kitchen blender) and a bowl.

Equipment

  • 1 nutribullet (or kitchen blender)
  • 1 medium sized mixing bowl
  • 1 Danish dough whisk

Ingredients

  • 60 g melted butter
  • 1 ½ cups milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence or extract
  • 2 cups self raising flour
  • ½ cup caster sugar

Instructions

  • Melt the butter and set aside to cool a little.
  • Plug in and heat the waffle maker.
  • Place the dry ingredients in to the bowl.
  • Place all the wet ingredients into your nutribullet and whizz for one minute until all ingredients are creamy in colour.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and combine using a dough whisk. Set aside for 5 minutes for the proteins to relax.
  • Our the required amount of batter into the waffle maker and cook re your makers instructions.
  • I place mine onto a wire rack once cooked, so the bottoms don't go soggy. To keep warm place the wire rack into the oven on a very low temperature. Be careful as you don't want them to dry out.
