Pre heat your oven to 180° and line your cookie trays.
Soften your butte,r or allow your butter time to come up to room temperature.
Cream the butter and sugar together until soft and pale in colour.
Add the egg and mix again until well combined.
Add the milo (or drinking chocolate), salt, baking powder, flour and chocolate. And mix again on a low speed until the dough is well combined.
Use a teaspoon to scoop up small amounts of dough and roll into balls. Place on your lined trays.
Wet a fork in a cup of water and press down to create a pattern on the surface of the biscuit. Wet the fork again and make a cross.
Bake for 15 minutes until golden in colour. Allow to rest for 5-10. minutes when you take them out of the oven before transferring them to a cooling rack.
