The Vyna Vest and Hat combine style, comfort, and nature-inspired patterns. The diamond and cable texture reflects the shapes and lines found in the back country of Ōtemātātā Station. And names Vyna after my avid knitting grandmother. The great grandmother to our girls, who knitted all the wondrous knits in my books you see.
The Hat pattern has two versions, knitted flat on straight needles or on the round on double pointed needles.
Knitted in Ōtemātātā Station Outcast Merino 8ply, 100% fine merino natural coloured wool.
TENSION: 22 sts and 30 rows to 10 cm [4 ins] over stst on 4 mm [6 US] needles.
